Enid Capron

Nestled on a gentle slope over looking the luxuriant Five Cays beach The Enid Capron Primary School is as vibrant as the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The Enid Capron Primary School, formerly Five Cays Primary existed since the 1930’s. This school was first housed in a one­room building situated at the southern end of Five Cays. The existing building started construction in 1975 and was completed in 1976. This was due because of the influence of Pastor Tom Rigby and many other Five Cays residents. The student population increased dramatically during the years.
The school was renamed Enid Capron Primary on May 25th, 1993 under the leadership of Mr. Willard Cummings. Our patron, Mrs. Enid Capron, served in the teaching profession for about 33 years. Indeed, she has had a great impact on the lives of many students and for this we are grateful.
Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa adopted the Enid Capron Primary School in March of 1998. The school is blessed with an energetic Principal, Mrs. Rachael Taylor, whose perennial motto is to achieve, achieve, achieve. Currently, the school has a total of 373 students and 26 teachers.

Principal’s Message

‘Reaching for the Stars’ is the motto of the Enid Capron Primary School; one that we strive to maintain.
It has been a privilege to be promoted as head teacher of Enid Capron Primary School since August 2004. With thirteen years of experience at this institution, I do look forward to the challenges with great optimism. With a team of bright, energetic and vibrant teachers, we will continue to uplift our students to do and be the very best that they can be, giving thanks to the almighty God who has brought us thus far.
I express my profound gratitude to the P.T.A. body of the Enid Capron Primary, the business community, churches, non-profit organizations, the entire community of Five Cays, and my loving family for their continuous support and encouragement throughout my tenure and do look forward for your continuous support.

We at Enid Capron believe that the path to success lies in accepting challenges as opportunities for growth. Our institution inculcates the values of hard work and diligence amongst its students enabling them to overcome obstacles in the journey of their future lives.
In order to achieve our motto, 'Reaching for the Stars' we have a committed principal, teachers and a PTA body dedicated to maintaining high standards in the performance of our students. A broad range of extra curricular activities that few institutions could boast or further refines the students' sprit of succeeding in a competitive environment. As a result, we are proud of the numerous accolades of past and current students for achieving distinction in their pursuits in all walks of life. These collective efforts are the fabric of what makes Enid Capron a great educational institution. Since being promoted to Vice Principal, it has been an honour to carry on this legacy.
